Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and motivation to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) companies all through an engagement together with the agency's senior professionals at a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.

Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric exams.

Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% with the registered pupils inside the instruction sector.

These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
